Job Opportunity: Front of House Receptionist
Location: London – Full Time, Office-Based
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
About the Role
Our client, a well-established financial institution, is seeking a warm, professional, and proactive Receptionist to join their team. As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk, and supporting key office functions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and managing external visitors with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinating meeting room schedules, setting up spaces, and providing refreshments.
- Managing the switchboard and handling general inquiries.
- Overseeing office supplies, mail, and deliveries.
- Maintaining common areas, such as stock and meeting room kitchens.
- Assisting with security access (door passes).
- Providing administrative support, including typing, document scanning, and filing.
- Supporting PAs as needed and assisting with VIP events.
About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- 5+ years of front-of-house experience in a corporate setting is ideal.
- A strong command of MS Outlook and basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence handling switchboards and managing customer calls.
- A polished, professional appearance and adherence to a business dress code.
- An enthusiastic, approachable personality and the ability to work under pressure.
