Job Opportunity: Team Assistant & Receptionist (One-Month Temp Cover)

Location: Global Finance Company, Central London
Start Date: 31st March (One-Month Temporary Cover)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Hourly Rate: £18 – £20 per hour

Our client, a prestigious global finance company in the heart of London, is seeking a Team Assistant & Receptionist for a one-month temporary cover during holiday leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Head Receptionist as front-of-house support
  • Meet & greet visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
  • Manage meeting room bookings and calendar invites for the team
  • Organise Zoom meetings in company meeting rooms
  • Set up meeting rooms with necessary equipment and refreshments
  • Use Outlook & Excel efficiently for scheduling and admin tasks
  • Arrange breakfasts and lunches for teams as needed
  • Conduct daily floor walks to ensure all areas are well-stocked, and coffee machines are cleaned and replenished

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Excel – must be confident and efficient
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • A professional and friendly approach to visitors and colleagues
