About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Regulatory Reporting Accountant or Financial Accountant to join our fast-growing SME bank. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise, contribute to critical regulatory processes, and grow alongside the business.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting while improving controls, processes, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly regulatory reports with accuracy and efficiency
  • Establish and maintain robust controls around regulatory reporting, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and investigations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of regulatory and MI data feeds
  • Streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Support the implementation of a new regulatory reporting system to improve automation
  • Assist in maintaining documentation and controls for regulatory reporting
  • Contribute to the execution of new business/product changes and upcoming regulatory updates
  • Support the Head of Regulatory Reporting in producing Pillar 3 disclosures, ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP documents, including stress testing scenarios
  • Educate stakeholders on capital and liquidity reporting requirements, providing regulatory guidance across the business

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services within banking
  • Strong understanding of liquidity, capital, market, and credit risk
  • Experience with regulatory reporting systems (implementation experience is a plus!)
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
  • Detail-oriented, highly accurate, and able to work under pressure
